Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Mount Terry Public School! I feel so fortunate to have the privilege of leading such an amazing school community.
At Mount Terry, while we work extremely hard to ensure every student reaches their true academic potential, we feel our most important job is to help to raise good people, who become good, active citizens. In order to do this we explicitly teach our 3 school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. Our students learn what this looks and feels like, and we are so proud of the way our students develop and grow in their time with us.
We strongly believe that school should be a holistic experience, which is why there are so many quality extra-curricular activities and opportunities for our students. Whether it's choir, dance or band, public speaking and debating, high potential and giftedness, sport, technology, creative arts or the environment, there are programs, events and experiences made available to our students so that everyone gets to find what they are good at and what they like to do.
We’re proud of our dedicated staff and strong partnerships with families. Together, we ensure students feel known, valued and cared for, as well as inspired to learn.
I invite you to explore our website to discover what makes our school special, but please don't leave it there; come and visit our great school and see all of this in action for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you into our community.
