A big welcome back to all our families for the 2014 school year. There will be lots of exciting things happening throughout the year and plenty of opportunities for parents to be involved. I would like to welcome all of our new parents and hope that you are able to become an active member of our school learning community.
The school would like to welcome all our new Kindergarten students and their parents to Mount Terry's Learning community for the 2014 school year. It was great to see all those children who had been involved in last year's orientation sessions arrive for their "Best Start" this week in preparation to start school on Monday. We have enough new Kindergarten enrolments this year to form five full classes. This is the biggest Kinder group we have ever had to start a school year. Kindergarten parents are encouraged to join this journey and play an active role in your child's education for the next 12 years. Research shows that children are more successful at school if their families are engaged in their learning and schooling.
